Today was my first fast day

And it was a lot easier than I anticipated. I had no food from after dinner last night until dinner tonight - I was amazed that I could go 24 hours without food! I did get hungry late this afternoon, but waited until dinner time and ate 366 calories plus a piece of SF gum afterwards. The 366 calories filled me up - I am not hungry at all and my belly feels full! It can't get any better than this. :victory:

My first day as well -- I did eat about 550 calories, which is close to 1/4 of my daily needs. I didn't have breakfast, but just finished dinner at 6 pm. A little nervous about being hungry while sleeping tonight, but eating at night isn't usually a problem for me.

Congratulations to you all! It seems that you have made a really good start. My husband and I have just finished our 14th fast, seven weeks nearly completed. It gets even easier as you get into it more and this forum is great for information and chat, plus it's difficult to eat if you're typing!

I look forward to seeing progress reports from you. Don't forget to use the Progress Tracker - it's very encouraging to see that downward line on the graph!
