Too much socialising this week!
22 Jan 2013, 21:05
I did my first fasting day for this week yesterday but now have a lot going on for the rest of this week and I can't fit another day's fast in realistically until Saturday so I am wondering how to deal with this. I was thinking I may just try to stick with having the one (social) meal each day for the rest of the week but not sure if I would be able to do that and perhaps I should just accept the way things are for me this week and have day 2 on Saturday. :?

I would try having less meals. I tend to go without lunch now quite often.

You would feel less like you're over-eating if you only have the one social meal and perhaps a light breakfast?

Might make you feel more in control?
Thanks Fast Jo. Yes I think I will try the less meals approach. As you say, it will help me feel I am not just abandoning it since I had a good start last week. Anne
It's worth a go! I would try that approach.

Funnily enough, I'm coming around to thinking I only need one main meal a day. I don't think I need any more fuel to get by.

I enjoy breakfast and dinner but lunch seems like it's not really needed.

If you have to have lunch, try not having breakfast so you are properly hungry then maybe save some fruit or something light for an evening snack if needed? I think that's would what I'd do.

It's a bit annoying to feel forced to eat though, isn't it? You could leave some and ask for a doggy bag - or is that attracting too much attention?! :D
