I've been reading about juice fasts, lasting for weeks sometimes, and although apparently the health benefits are "unproven", I was just wondering if anyone had tried an extended fast - juice or otherwise - and how you found it?

I did a 5 day fast many many years ago, just water/herbal tea etc, no food at all.
From what I remember it went well, didnt feel ill, lost a bit of weight...did feel strange not eating though
