I found day one easy because I was at work, today will be different, but like many 5:2-ers I found that hunger was surprisingly manageable, it passes; or a drink satisfies. I have my meal planned to have this evening, and as a serial dieter having 500 cals to 'spend' on one meal seems positivly sinful . I'm doing this for predominatly weight loss, but I like the idea of much improved health tremendously too. I like the feeling after the fast day as well, it is not like the feeling after a 'dieting'day? And, I didn't want to eat overmuch to compensate. I hope it continues to be exciting!
