Giving blood - silly question?
06 Apr 2013, 09:40
Morning all,
I have an appointment to give blood on Monday at 2pm - I go every 4 months. Monday is usually a fast day for me and I don't usually eat anything on my fast days until my evening meal at about 7pm.
My sensible head is telling me to swap my fast day to Tuesday...

What's the general opinion. Has anyone fasted and given blood? How were you? :?:
There was a thread on this and the general consensus was to swap days. Particularly because of blood volume loss etc.

Thank you, BBT053. Did do a search but didn't spell donating that way!
Definitely swap days, perhaps you shouldn't do it on a day before and after either.
