Today is my non-fast day . I didn't have any breakfast because by the time I'd realised it was 11am so I carried on working thinking I would have my lunch, which I did. I don't think my tummy has really rumbled for food. Sometimes I can't tell whether I need food or I fancy it. For example this evening I had my dinner which was salmon and veg with a little olive oil. At about 9.30 I started thinking about the cake in the cupboard, but thought do I fancy that or do I feel hungry for it? In the end I just didn't go and get it and I am fine. I kinda feel that i want to eat in my mouth, but not my stomach. Have other people experienced this?

If it's cheese, I can't be near it.
Sometimes I have the same thing, I fancy something but don't really feel hungry. Usually I ignore it, but if the feeling can't be shaken, I just have a tiny piece and savour it - I get the flavour and sensation in my mouth but my tummy doesn't have to cope with much
Moogiie! Your weight loss has been amazing. Just looked at your tracker. I didn't realise how much you've actually lost. Well done. I hope I get there like you
If I could work that one out life would be so much simpler! I find evenings hard. The more tired I am the harder it is to distinguish between true hunger and the feeling of wanting to eat. Mostly the need for sweet! Theres less distraction in the evenings too. I have found that this WOE helps a lot though with distinguishing true hunger. I follow the advice of fellow forum member BreadandWine who says to make a drink and set a timer for 20 mins if its all getting too much. If after the drink has gone and the timer has gone off you still fell the need then maybe you really are hungry.
