Growling stomach!
13 Apr 2013, 17:44
I imagine that many of us over the years forgot what a true hunger with growling stomach felt like. I always had a hard time getting through the feeling of wanting to eat, even though I knew my tummy was not hungry.

Now today I sit here (regular feed day), my tummy is protesting very loudly, and yet I have no desire to eat. It's growling away, chewing me out lol, but I don't feel that urge that I have to eat NOW like I used to. Hooray for 5:2 teaching me it's ok to feel hungry and not feel the need to devour half the fridge!

Good, isn't it? Whenever I have hunger pangs or I feel a little peckish I just imagine the sensation is my stomach devouring my fat, a much nicer thought than starvation. Like you, I also am amazed at my ability to not eat when hungry now, never thought this would happen to me or that I would be happy to resist food.
