well, kind of stayed the same
4 weeks ago i was 191lbs then we had Easter, i had a horrid cold for 2 weeks (I never get ill usually) and last weekend was hubbys birthday so apart from losing a couple of pounds when i was ill i seem to have put them back on and stil be 191lbs
I know its good really, as i havent out on but i really would have loved to get a few more pounds off before my holiday at the end of this month

guess i will have to be a bit more accurate with cals for the next 10days or so, have had a few too many chips and choc recently

i think my tdee is around 2100 so i should aim for around that on my non fast days and 500 on fast days? or at least a weekly total of 11500

Good to hear you're still sounding positive, think I'm going to end up tweaking as I go along with this fasting business, at the moment I can still eat as I please, but I'm trying to address some of my bad habits as I go along to instil them as lifestyle changes so hopefully I can avoid the plateau! As you say not gaining weight through a bad eating month is still a success! Onwards and downwards you go!
Hi Jeniben.
Sounds like a challenging month you had. You CAN make this next month count. You already know what you need to do!! A little more focus on what you are eating as you say and you will be back on track and losing those pounds.

Well done so far and go for it girl!!!!!!

Ok, I think you have a great plan - sticking to your TDEE and your 500 calorie fast days.

I try to look at plateaus as "at least I didn't gain, like I have been doing for hte past decade."
thanks Mariposa, Lesley and Tracie
Its just a little frustrating, I guess, i lost the first stone very quickly so i guess i am at some sort of adjustment stage too
still i be on it this week properly and then on holiday i will breakfast and evening meal with a few beers but sensible options where possible - luckily i love fish and slads on holiday anyway

Think I'll be in the same boat (hope it don't sink :) as there have been a few days when I went over tdee...but if that's the case I will be glad not to have gained, so don't be down hearted your doing just fine.
I've been in the same boat too jeniben - for similar reasons, Easter, daughter's birthday, school holidays and eye off the ball to some extent.
But I have a similar plan to yours, have focused more this week, taken a bit more exercise and am hoping for a result, however small.
For me too the first stone went off easily with not much change to habits outside the fast days, but even though it slowed down the averages are still ok and, as Tracie says, we weren't gaining weight...
Stick with it, I am. This WOE works!

 Doh! Posted twice - apologies. :frown:
thanks bee and moira
i am not too downhearted - just impatient:-)
As you say considering easter, cold and birthday not gaining is a plus
good luck both

 Jeniben, I know how you feel - I'm impatient too!!
