Daily Mail 2 day Summer Diet
19 Apr 2013, 21:18
I'm a bit worried, I've just seen a TV advert for the above.

Normally I would discount ANYTHING they say. Not a good advert :frown:

No personal offense was intended, my apologies if any was given
Seems that this Daily Mail 2 day Summer Diet is a re-run of the 'Two Day Diet' about which a lot has been written here already (here and here for instance) and which the Mail promoted only a few weeks ago. There are new 'summer recipes'.

Here is a new article by Jenni Murray (of Radio 4's Woman's Hour) updating us on her progress on the Two Day Diet.

It is actually a pretty good and healthy diet with a lot of similarities to the 5:2 that most of us practice, but quite prescriptive about what you can eat (in a good way). It incorporates the idea of 2 days of restricted calories (consecutive days in this case) with a 'Mediterranean diet' (TML you should love it!)

Not sure anyone here is following it though... If you are, please tell us how you are getting on!
