Fasting today. The past few weeks I've been having brunch (170cals) and then dinner (300 or less cals), leaving a bit of a fault margin for cals I don't count (herbal tea, garlic, ginger etc for cooking), and the odd time I forget and have a tea with milk.

Decided today to go through without until dinner - regretting that now! Feeling a bit wobbly and light headed (I'm doing this for weight loss rather than 24 hours fasting possible health benefits).

Not much point in giving in no though, only a few hours left unitl dinner......

Which leads me to my point. In theory, I would be v happy with having my usual tuna tomato thingy that I cook, which totals less than 300 cals. Do you think there will be any significant benefit in sticking to this, rather than my 500 allowance?

Off to pick child up from school, will drive carefully!!!
Have a cup of bouillon or bovril. Helps me when I'm feeling a bit out of sorts on a fast day. I think the salt helps.
Why don't you eat something now?
Do you know, I just asked myself that and I have no idea! See, no food and delusional! Going to have a ww soup, ryvita and low fat cheese spread now.
Doh, still starving. Not long to go now though!
Hope you've had a good dinner by now! I did similar today, usually on fast days I still stick to 3 meals and find this suits me well, no headaches or dramatic hunger pangs. However today, due to over indulging yesterday and still feeling full this morning, I decided to try fasting till my dinner tonight. I coped ok until 3.0 ish then just had to have an apple. I did last out then until dinner but was feeling very shaky too. Going to try 2 meals on next fast, I know others say it gets easier...here's hoping.
Good luck.
Munching on vegies helps too!...cucumbers, celery, carrots :)
