Any lapsed vegetarians?
22 Apr 2013, 16:08
Hi - just wondered if anybody has experience of reverting to meat-eating after years of vegetarian/pescatarian diet?

I'm threatening to start adding a little quality meat to my intake - will there be any problems?

I was pure vegetarian for 35 years but found I needed fish oils and protein in my diet to counter arthritis, and it has helped. I couldn't go as far as four legged beasts or fowl or shell fish though. I feel bad enough about the poor fish!

I have been a mostly vegetarian and sometimes pescetarian and after being low on energy and not recovering from flu I ate my first cowmeat in 35 years. My stomach felt a bit strange after that, but I had no serious side effects. I ate 2x meat and don't know if I will carry on eating meat.
