General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

3 posts Page 1 of 1
Today is my 27th fast, and I have noticed over the last month that my body seems to have settled into a routine. That is, it has worked out that Tuesdays and Thursdays are my fast days and so I don’t feel hungry when I wake up (unlike feed days).

Also, the hunger will stay away till around 13:30 because that is when I eat my two bananas (I have a definite routine for fast days) the hunger will then return at around 17:00 as I prepare my evening meal.

On feed days I wake hungry and will feel hungry(ish) regularly throughout the day.

Is the body that clever it can spot the patterns of my eating (and availability of food) or is it just my imagination?

Kev.
I think it's habit as much as anything. I'm around the 28th fast mark too and I feel it's become routine for me. 28 times makes a habit. It's great your routine is working!
Interesting theory...
pre 5:2ing my body 'knew ' when it was 11 o'clock- banana time- maybe it's the bananas ;)
Can't say I've noticed any difference but maybe others have.
