Tried 2 days in a row
23 Apr 2013, 17:28
Hi all. This is only my second week and had decided to fast Mon, Wed and Fri. However, yesterday my daughter and I decided to go for dinner and a movie this Wed so decided to fast today as well. I'm struggling abit! I have stuck to it but my motivation is waning. My parents do it 2 days in a row don't know how they do it! Anyone else struggle with 2 days in a row?

I've not been brave enough to try it! You don't have long left now!

I tried it once and found it v hard. Paradoxically it is probably easier to do a total or near-total fast for 2 days - having the limited calories on day 1 maybe makes day 2 harder. But I stick to non-consecutive days with my <600 calories on each day.

I'm going to do it next week and I'm curious on how I'll make it. Considering that I have done 3 days non-eating fasts when I was a bit younger, I think that I will struggle but make it. Fingers crossed...

When I was younger I used to do a 7 day fast once a year. It was liquid only, and I drank a very watered down lemonade. Total daily calories was less than 200. It was supposed to be cleansing.

a few things...it did get easier as the days went by, I was not cleansing, and I did not lose any weight-go figure!
