Water retention OhmiGod!!!
03 May 2013, 12:11
If I hadn't noticed how much I drank, I'd probably not notice how much water I can retain.
Yesterday I was all day at my parents' place, preparing Saturday's dinner and baking. I had a can of coke, two coffees and water. And yet I wnt to the loo only once, before I left, not because I wanted to but because I always go to the loo before going out.
I went out to dinner, had water and ouzo (lots of it) and still no... will to pee.
I drank a litre of water during my sleep, woke up, went to the loo but only because I do that before my weigh in.
No surprise that I gained 1 kilo since yesterday!!!
I'm now drinking tea made of a herb that supposedly makes you pee but nothing... It's that time of the month so I know where most of it comes from but still, it is a bit too much!!!

BTW, I do have a problem with water retention and I take a diuretic pill once in a week so I guess that next time I take it we'll see the Niagara falls, LOL!!!
