Being aware of hunger
30 Jan 2013, 17:55
I don't know about anyone else but doing the 5:2 diet has made me look differently at hunger. Before starting this way of life I would eat whenever I thought I was hungry but actually this diet has made me realise what feeling hungry actually is. Now I find on non fast days I am less likely to have so many snacks.

Me too, cut out snacks almost all together, except as an occasional treat, feel much better for it too

I was expecting to gorge myself the day after my first fast, but I ended up eating less than I usually do. I'm more aware of physical hunger as opposed to emotional "hunger", which is usually boredom in my case.
