I chose my target weight because i remember clothes looking good and feeling comfortable at that weight. When I worked out it would give me a BMI of 23 I thought perhaps it should be lower but the large frame factor sort of re-assures me it's probably sensible.
It seems close, Franglaise but my chart is like a very choppy sea there is a lot of ups and downs to move forward!!
Franglaise I do have big feet - size 8 wide and bony - not at all pretty. My bmi at the moment is 22.91 and I'm aiming to lose about another 4 or 5 pounds. That will still leave me with plenty of padding around the hips but I start to get quite thin and bony on top. I supposed if I was more evenly distributed I'd want to be a bit lighter. Definitely not a small build though.
Well, I'm only 5'3" and I've still got a long way to go but I'm aiming for the top end of healthy BMI, as I've always known I've got a big frame and anything less than 25 BMI will just look stupid on me. I have UK size 7 feet, my wrists are 6.5", I've always needed to have a large size hat (skulls are heavy!) and I have a large rib cage for my height. Having read this thread though, it will be interesting to see what I look like when I get to a BMI of 27.

For those wondering where exactly you are supposed to measure your wrists, it should be across the point where you can feel the two biggest bones on either side.
This is an interesting topic. Using the calculator that Susan linked to I am classed as small frame, which is right I think, but despite that it puts my ideal weight at 62-64kg which is above where I am now.
