my first posting – i am really inspired by all the wonderful progress you folk are making, and the encouragement you are giving to each other.
i’m on my second week, and amazed by how much energy i have – especially after fast days.
fruit teas are a godsend
my problem with dieting through my whole life has been that i am diligent during the week, but let things slide on the weekend.
i associate food with pleasure, and after working all week, i need some pleasure!
i am piloting mon – wed – fri fast days this week so i can relax at the weekend, and not undo all the good work of my week.
i wondered if anyone else has tried 3 fast days, and how it’s gone?
i’d welcome any feedback / thoughts :like:
Hello newfastdieter
Welcome and good luck with the programme.
I also like 4:3 and find it works really well for me but I have taken a break at the moment as I find it difficult to fast when I have visitors and there have been a lot of those lately (I live in a touristic town on the coast)...so it's more like 6:1 at the moment but as of next week when my current visitors go home, I will be going back to 4:3. I also do Mon - Wed - Fri. Tuesday and Thursday I be a bit careful and at the weekends, I eat what I fancy which is very often not a lot but there is no guilt or affect on weight loss if I eat lots on a special day or event.
I am sure you will enjoy once you get into the swing. Good Luck!
Kelly
