General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I read somewhere in the forum about someone drinking a lot of liquids. I work a lot of 12 hour night shifts so drinking soup/liquids might be the answer for me on fast days. Can anyone put me onto which liquids I should be drinking?

Also can you change your fast days each week to coincide with shift patterns etc.

Yes you can pick any 2 days you like, and you can change them from week to week.

Liquids with very little calories - water (still or sparkling), black tea, black coffee, green tea.

At about 15-25 calories each - bouillon eg Marigold or Bovril, miso soup.

Homemade vegetable soup is 50-100 per bowl, depending on what's in it or how it's made.
