Two days on the Trot!!
31 Jan 2013, 09:23
Hi everyone
I started this on Wednesday evening after my main meal at 6.00 p.m., but ate 600 cals yesterday!! :? I've got up this morning and don't feel (too) hungry, so I am going to continue until 6.00 p.m. tonight when the family arrive.

So far I have had a small banana and I am going to have more fruit and a yogurt for lunch - I am aiming to eat 400 calories today (up to the 6.00 p.m.), so averaging it out to 500 cals for each 24 hr period and then eat normally until Monday when I will start doing the 5:2 or 4:3.

Do you think this will be ok???

Sounds OK to me. In the book, it's mentioned that the amount of calories is 1/4 of your normal RDA. Personally, I'd just eat the 500 today, in your shoes. 100 extra calories is still a lot less than you'd normally eat, especially as it's a one off. Don't worry about it too much and just start again on Monday.

Book was half price when I bought it at a well known high street retailer of books. It's also currently less then £4 on Amazon.
