Question for the ladies
14 May 2013, 17:39
I have read that 5:2 has helped with period pain, but has it effected anyones cycle? After being on the pill for 8 years to control symptoms of edenomyosis I chose to come off to see what happens. The idea of taking artificial hormones any longer didn't sit right with me. I have been off the pill for 9 months and amazingly my cycle has been spot on every month, 30 days, although still very painful.

I'm now worrying that 5:2 is going to make them irregular.
Thanks

I can't say anything in relation to your condition but I've had my period 3 times since I started 5:2 and its been very regular and less painful :)

There has been a few threads about this and it seems to vary. I feel that since the new year I've gone from 5 days to 3 days but not less painful or any less heavy.
