I'm not downhearted...
15 May 2013, 13:22
Tuesday- Not a fast day [NFD], and I was perfectly on track to be within my TDEE, even including a couple of pints down the pub...

...until I came home & had an almighty attack of the munchies :starving: !

It was like a whole months appetite in one day... I demolished the contents of the fridge. I'm ashamed to admit to... toast, cheese on a ryvita, choc bar...
...there's more...
I made myself a chicken wrap... and then...

...a cheese'n'bacon burger  !
all washed down with three mugs of tea.
[I did feel stuffed after that lot]

But am I downhearted? Not a bit (a bit disappointed at my total lack of control/willpower)
Why?
Because I know this WOE will 'forgive' an occasional lapse and indeed I'm throwing in an extra adhoc fast today to hopefully compensate for some of last nights excess.

Wow! That was some blow out reaction! Maybe the alcohol brought it on? Tomorrow is a brand new day with new tactics and goals, keep at it, you can do it :0)

Hi Langtoflad,

Thanks for posting this. Sounds like a lot of nice food, hope you enjoyed it! You'll undo the 'damage' (if any) with another couple of fasts. We all have days like this. So let's all be happy with this WoE! Good luck! :clover:

Hmm - not a problem in that the next couple of fasts will sort this out for you  Personally I know that once I've had a glass of wine then my power of restraint is really diminished - thus I keep to wine at the weekend only - so it could have been the downside to the pints. Never mind - you know yourself what happened  Don't worry - it'll all come out in the wash :clover:
