300 calorie evening meals?
15 May 2013, 17:55
i haven't managed to fast a whole day yet - i have a protein shake before the gym in the morning & a piece of fruit at work.
that leaves me 300 cals for dinner.
does anyone have any straightforward low cal evening meal suggestions?

We use the BBC Good Food website - have found lots of lovely meals which we sometimes even eat on non-fast days! Good luck.

I tend to have a cod loin (125g is about 120 calories) with a tomato, chilli, pepper and garlic sauce. Handful of salad leaves with some more peppers and cherry tomatoes. Usually ends up being around 300 calories and is delicious! x

If you are in the UK, and I'm guessing you are, then the major supermarkets have their own ranges of ready meals that come in at around 300 cals. I like the Waitrose Love Life range, and usually pad them out with extra green veg.
Other than that a big bowl of mixed salad, with Prawns or Tuna.
Oh and the Hairy Dieters book has loads of ideas
