My missus, however, who humoured me by doing 6:1 so we shared a common day (Tuesday, used to be pasta & tomato sauce) has in 14 weeks got rid of all her baby-weight (19 years old) and is down to a BMI of 19.4, lighter than she has been for 30 years probably. All weight is hard for me to lose. The only time I have been below 200 pounds since I got pregnant 21years ago was from a bout of food poisoning that kicked in my IBD and almost landed me in the hospital. I dipped down, on what turned out to be the last day of my illness, to 195. Not a sustainable method of weight loss though, and I wouldn't recommend it.

For me it is all about finding a method of weight loss that I can sustain long enough to let go of the extra fat. For me this looks to be it!
