Been on this woe since feb love it and really appreciate it. But past 8 wk plateau, made me feel rubbish fast days not a problem , exercising 4-5 hours a week. After returning bk off a weeks cruise gaining only 1.5lb pretty pleased but I know I'm on this plateau and eould like to lose another stone . I think it's my feast days causing the trouble so I'm now counting on wk days, and I think this must have been my problem. Amazed that I was over eating , but I think tjats the case . I can cope by counting on these days just shows you think your not over eating but it's definitely worth counting if your on this plateau ........... Just an idea good luck every one
That's great that you now know why - good luck!
I hope it works for you! It sounds like lots of people fine it harder and harder to lose the less they need to lose, if you see what I mean.

A week of indulgence may have helped too, it did for me! I only put on a pound when we went away, which I was very pleased with. Then I started losing again when I went back to 5:2.
I find that if I want to lose the weight, I need to be very mindful of what I eat during the week. I have to stay focused, otherwise, no weight loss.
I have decided to count calories for the next five days to see how I'm doing.
Thanks for everyone's support . I would have swore I never over ate. But they tot up so quickly especially with a toddler around!! Xx
Well done for figuring it out and getting off that plateau. Congratulations for going on a cruise and only putting on 1.5lb - that's a good achievement in itself !! Your name could, of course, be another reason for being on that plateau, I know that I'm an addict for sure  But isn't it great that we've found 5:2 which allows us to eat chocolate 5 days out of 7.... how good is that :victory:

ha that gave me a much needed end of day giggle
I do quite well weight loss wise after my fasting days but the inbetween days put paid to any good results. I am finding also that I have to count calories on my non-fasting days and am a little disappointed as I thought this way of eating would really help me. I have been on diets on and off for years and am sick of counting calories, and to be honest I haven't really overdone the eating on non-fasting days, but I guess I am just one of those people who needs to monitor continuously what goes in. Good luck to everyone. :like:
I am having the exact same problem, no real movement in 7 weeks, lost 5kg in 8 weeks and now it seems to be stuck, I will give calorie counting on feed days a go just to make sure. It's hard as some people say lay of the calories in feed day then others say a high cal day kicks it off again? Don't want to end up doing the wrong one!
