General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

So Happy - it does work for me!

I'm still not sure how the forum works. When I started on 20-5-13 I posted under "can this really work for me?" and got some really helpful and motivating responses. I have updated that first post but want to shout from the rooftops that, YES it can work for me!!!! So just in order to get the widest audience I'm posting again. I've really enjoyed this week. I've eaten well, drunk the odd cocktail /glass of wine (!) and been out for a curry ... And when I did my weekly weigh I had lost 4 lbs!! The two fast days were really not a problem. The concept makes really good sense to me - I am so happy

Updating/editing a post does not seem to make it current, so nobody who read the original will be alerted to the new information. This does seem a shame, and it makes for multiple posts where one continuing post would do, but I guess that this is just the way things are. Moogie could give us the definitive answer, and maybe there is a workaround?

Update: I suspect the above does not apply in your case, I had assumed you had updated within a post but I cannot see any evidence for this - sorry I butted in!
