Quck questions and hello
06 Jun 2013, 12:40
Hi

I've recently heard about this diet (well quite a bit about this diet) and I would love to give it a go.

I tried a liquid fasting day yesterday, but it didn't go well, because I exercise quite a bit and I felt like I wasn't getting the best from my classes.

So not to be deterred I'm going to try it again, but another way and I have joined for a bit of help/support.

I am planning to have my tea around 8pm tonight and fast tomorrow and have my 500 cal meal about 8pm tomorrow evening, then eat normally from Saturday, would this work?

I am planning to do my second day fasting from Monday evening and having my 500 meal on Tuesday evening.

Thanks for reading
Xx

Hi Tee and welcome. Your plan sounds like one a lot of us on this forum use. Don't worry about the hunger - it doesn't get progressively worse!

Good luck.

Hello Tee
Welcome to the forum. Lots of people, myself included, wait until supper to eat their 500 calories because eating any food seems to trigger hunger pangs. Just make sure you drink enough water if you are exercising & something slightly salty such as Bovril or broth also seems to help keep things going well. Good luck with your next fast & remember you can eat what you like the next day!

Thanks so much for the welcome and tips guys

I am excited about trying this  . I am a vegan so don't have bovril, but would vegetable bouillon be ok?
