General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

Think I messed around a bit before, must have, as I haven't lost any weight in 8 weeks. SO, am going back to basics, re-reading the book and starting to keep a better count of calories on my non-fasting days.
Think I'll be doing 2 fasting days, 3 controlled days...ie staying at or around my TDEE, then Saturday &Sunday I'll eat what I want.
I want this to be my WOE from now on, but I REALLY need to see some results.
Anyone else in the same place. Re. 5:2?
I am doing the same. I am doing low carb in week plus my two fast days and then having weekend off. Am excited to find out on Sunday if it makes a difference. Good luck!!
Good luck to you as we'll. I love my carbs, but they do tend to stick to my ribs, trouble is, I'm not a big meat fan, but maybe will look towards more protein based meals...thank you for that good thought.
Let me know how you get on, I'm weighing tomorrow am, my next fast day is Friday, so a TDEE day for me tomorrow.
Happy calorie counting
I don't think you are going to see results if you have 2 days of eating what you want. Two days of overindulgence can easily wipe out your 2 deficit days. Now if you are looking for maintenance, you might get by.
