2 days in a row
04 Feb 2013, 12:02
Hi,
I'm new to the site and I have a question, Does anyone else do 2 days consecutively?
I found it easiest for me sort of get it done out of the way, looking at the posts on here most people do 2 separate days.
I guess the beauty of this is its all up to you how you fit it into your life?
:D

The book and original documentary suggest the days should be non consecutive, presumably due to the risk of the body going into starvation mode - however, I know of several users who have been doing consecutive days for some time and have had success with it. I guess there's also the sustainabiliy factor, many people prefer to split their days because then it really is just one day of 'dieting' at a time.

I've not done two days in a row yet but am thinking of trying this week in order to fit in an extra day (after a weekend of extreme indulgence I think my body could do with a break!).

Well moogie I think it can fit your life style and I did think of breaking it up but as I just stated work with ridged lunch breaks I start doing the weekend as my fast days ( I have no Life)
Let me know how you get on :D

Will let you know how I do if I go through with it - but it'll probably just be this once :)

I've done an occasional extra fast on a Saturday but couldn't fast all weekend, always too much going on and hubby does love his Sunday roast :)
