Fasting today
04 Feb 2013, 22:33
On my third fasting day, I am more organized this week, shopped at the weekend thinking of calories, finding I am more aware of what I eat in general now, seemed to have lost my sweet tooth to the the extent I was, I have breakfast, drink herbal tea to get me through to teatime, tonight I could of stretched my tea until later but gave in at 7 as I was having a rumbling tummy,
seem to have more energy today and difinately lost that bloating feeling I would have got before I started this healthy diet, has anyone else experienced these changes?

Certainly keeping busy on fast days is a help which seems a paradox as you would think you'd crave food more if you are active. After a month (and 10 lbs down) I favour a complete fast until evening then eat a full meal, it does feel as if your stomach shrinks as I can feel full on half the food I used to eat. Yesterday (Sunday) had roast dinner at 1.00pm and really felt I wanted nothing else that day, and Monday being a fast day went through until 6.00pm, around a 28 hour fast, but that WAS unusual but felt ok. Dont get as much indegestion now either.
