Does anyone else change their fasting days every week? I know this is isn't new to intermittent fasting, the idea being that primitive man did not know where his next meal was coming from or when it was coming.

I do ADF so my days change every week, as it's 4 one week and 3 the next. People doing 5:2 change days to suit their schedules by the look of it.
I'm on week 3, and changing my days yet again, to suit my commitments.
I'll try to stick to Mon and Thurs, for convenience, but will be flexible if I need to be.

Yes. I change mine to suit my week, or should I say social occasions.
This week I will be doing 3:4, fasting on Monday, Tuesday and then again onThursday. Not very alternate but it's only one week. I have been doing intermittent fasting since June 2012 in various forms and find a change can give the weight loss a bit of a boost. I'm 55, post menopausal, exercise regularly and every pound is a struggle. I read a small article in New Scientist about mice and thought wonder if that would work for human beings? I found lots of stuff on the Internet aimed at bodybuilding men (my kids did start to worry about me). So this new, wider interest bought about the Horizon programme has come as a welcome relief.
I changed my fasting day last week from Thursday to Wednesday and felt it was too long for me between the Wednesday and today's fast. I feel I have either put on weight or optimistically I hope I have stayed the same.
I doubt I will do that again unless I am aiming for a 4:3 week.

Last week I did Tuesday and Friday....this week Monday and Thursday....with my weigh in on Friday.....
I have 2 feed days then 1 fast day so it changes every week for me. This week will be different as my fast day would land on Thursday, Valentines day and i am cooking a nice meal so will fast on Wednesday instead.
I agree with Suela, primitive man didn't arrange his famines on certain days so I think it will do good to change now and again. They say that if you stick to a strict routine your body stops reacting, so definitely move it around.
