ibuprofen on fast day?
11 Feb 2013, 14:36
I'm meant to be taking ibuprofen at the moment to help deal with an old imjury which has flared up - back muscles going into spasm and pinching nerves, causing more pain and more tightness, etc etc. :o So it's rather necessary, I'm afraid. But apparently ibuprofen should be taken with meals?

I'm fasting today, intending to have nothing til evening. Does anyone know if it's okay to just have it with, say, coffee? Or should I go ahead and have a little food?

If it was me, I'd have milk with it or lots and lots of water or an oatcake. It's to stop the pill settling on your stomach lining, I think and causing an ulcer.

Okay, thanks for that! I'll have a nice milky coffee then, and maybe a handful of oats with it!
