Is it ok to still take vitamins and supplements on a fast day?

I take mine after an evening meal. On a fast day, I eat breakfast, but then don't eat till the next day.

Is it safe/ ok to take supplements on an empty stomach?

Thanks!
I'd still take them with your meal, possibly? No idea if it matters though.
I would experiment, as some multivitamin tablets can make you feel very queasy if you take them on an empty stomach.
I'd take them with brekky Lots do need to be taken with food anyways,or just before or just after, for the vits/ mins to be absorbed properly x
Definitely DO NOT take iron tablets on an empty stomach as that can cause tummy ache and just cause misery.

I take my Vit d chews on an empty stomach. Can't see that it would do any harm.

Bean
I don't take Iron but I take most of my others on a fast day. Usually with a mug of tea with milk in it. Except the oil based ones, there are too many calories in the oil capsules.
I am going to start taking vitamins, as i dont have a great ranged diet tend to stick to the few things i know i like and there aint any nice green healthy veg included. Now i have cut out all the junk I tend to eat salad and chicken and not much else lol sometimes if im really daring i swap the chicken for fish so anyone have any idea what i should be taking... or should it just be an all rounder multi vitamin.
Thanks
I've started taking a multi-vitamin/mineral tab every day. The leg cramps were getting out of control (not frequent, but exceptionally painful). Also, it has magnesium in it which I am hoping will help with regularity. I like to think my diet is pretty healthy, but I figure a vitamin tab can't hurt. I also take omega 3 capsules.
