Breakfast-skippers, that is.

Well if you're a middle aged male and are also drinking heavily, smoking and not exercising. Those factors of course don't matter quite so much as MISSING BREAKFAST!

Now I'm a fully signed up member of the Breakfast Lovers Association (apart from fast days) - but even I think that this might be stretching the 'thou must eat breakfast' mantra a little too far.
"The same men were more likely to smoke, drink more alcohol, be unmarried and to be less physically active"

I reckon the men in question were just hungover, got up at midday, lit a fag and had a full english for "brunch", while watching a bit of porn on the sofa

Or is that just too mean
I am not a middle aged male so everything is fine

It's crazy and anyway, the truth of now won't be accurate in few months/years time...

I remember when my doctor said to not eat more than one egg a week because it's bad fat, the same for avocados. Now they say "it's good for you"....

If you eat everyday the exact same thing that is in the picture, I am not sure you won't have a heart attack before you reach 50 anyway....
Everyone's heart will eventually stop beating so I am not going to worry about it,

Ballerina x
I don't skip breakfast I just have it at lunchtime.
I wonder which food corporation paid for that study??
I also wonder clairemarie. Do you think somebody is hoping we all run out to buy some breakfast cereal?
I guess to be safe I'll start eating breakfast, and skip lunch.

The idea that throughout history humans have always eaten three meals a day and a failure to do so leads to sickness and death makes me wonder why humans are still on the planet. :dazed:

well here is another opinion on the skipping breakfast debate. They don't actually refer to 'fasters' but that seems to be the jist
