5:2 Diet 'Rules' & Variations

2 posts Page 1 of 1
I did The Fast Diet for about a month and did lose weight, but I wasn't eating healthy, really. Also, I know I need a calorie cap on my eating days; it's not a free for all.

I started reading about The Two Day Diet that Dr. Mosley talks about in his book and also discusses on his website. I think this would be a good fit for me. It's healthier. Plus, you get to eat more on your fast days, and your eating days are based on the Mediterranean Diet. I'm at the age where if I don't really take care of my health, I'll go downhill fast! Plus I have breast cancer in my family, and I read that this diet is beneficial for that too.

So, for different reasons, I think this would be better for me. Right now, health is my #1 priority, more so than even losing weight. I live in the United States, and the book comes out in two weeks. I know you guys have already had the book in the U.K. for a while. I'm also going to buy the cookbook.

Anyone doing this?
Thanks Izzy.

We have relatives in the U.K., and I wish I lived there too!
