5:2 Diet 'Rules' & Variations

2 posts Page 1 of 1
Fasting today, and now at 10 PM, haven't eaten anything for 24 hours and plans on not eating until tomorrow.

I just didn't want to bother with food, and have felt just fine.

Just wondering, since I'm not so much into this for the weight loss, is there any research whether you get more of the health benefits regarding for example less risk of dementia/cancer, with zero calorie fasts rather than eating just a little?
Hi Michael, you might take a look through the 5:2 labs section. There are a lot of fasting research papers links there. I think @PhilT also posted a spreadsheet with the research papers listed and linked.
