The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hey all,

I was totally unaware that the tracker was broken. Real life has had a hold on me the last 18 months and I can but hope it hasn't been broken for the entire time!

Having just found out it was broken I have gotten straight on and believe it should all be sorted now. I'm so sorry to those it has inconvenienced and I hope it will continue to be of use to you now it is working again!
FastDay: The Program - a free 4 week App-based introduction to 5:2 and intermittent fasting.
Hi, Moogie. Many thanks for mending the tracker. Sadly, it has been broken since January of this year and, as I am sure you are aware, the number of people using this forum has dwindled to virtually nothing. I am aware that you have had a lot going on in your life but I am not sure that the Forum will ever be anything like it's former self.

I joined the Forum soon after it started and it has been wonderful for me, as it has been for so many other people. After six years I am still maintaining (mainly!) and I put it down to this Forum and the 5:2 WOL. I will continue to pop in from time to time and would like to thank you for all the time you spent on developing and maintaining this wonderful resource. Please take good care of yourself. Kind regards, Valerie.
Last time I used the tracker it was November 2018 and as it was my biggest motivator I didn’t check into the forum as often anymore. I fell a bit of the wagon but now have discovered Fast800 and am doing well on that. Would have loved to have this community discuss it but either many go on with life on 5:2/6:1 or have given up. Keeping weight off remains a struggle, despite fasting being one of the easiest methods. Thanks for resurrecting it! Sounds like you had way more important matters to look after. Take care of yourself!!
