bad mood does it pass
28 Feb 2013, 21:03
today is my 2nd fast day and i have been in a bad mood with a short fuse since tea time, does this get better the more fasts you do or is it just a side effect and is there anything to make it better. I have also learnt not to attempt an online tesco shop on a fast day as am now starving

Definitely gets easier. Although I hate cooking a proper dinner on fast days because as soon as I smell the food cooking, I turn into a grumpy beast until I'm fed! Last night I actually made tonight's dinner so it would not be an issue.

I was really grumpy and irritable my first few fast but it passed quite quickly, probably by fast 4 or 5. Just accept that you are in a bad mood and keep out of everyones way.
