I'm currently trying to maintain my weight but I'm also very interested in possible health benefits. Are there members who have been on this diet for a while and had any changes either positive or negative in cholesterol, TG, fasting glucose, insulin, IGF-1, inflammatory markers, blood pressure or anything else I can't think of? I do understand that losing weight may contribute to all these changes but my weight was healthy when I started and for years I maintained it with CR and excercise, I started the 5:2 because it seems like a better WOL... Not having to count calories religioulosly and being able to enjoy eating out is great but I don't want this to negatively affect my health. I would appreciate your experience. Thank you.
