Has anyone noticed that they lose weight differently according to what way of eating they are following?

I've only ever done Slimming World and 5:2 but I'm sure that on this WOE I'm smaller in all the rights places. I don't seem to have lost any from my boobs, my face is slimmer and my waist is getting smaller.

With SW I lost weight - a decent amount - but didn't feel as small as I do with this and I haven't yet lost as much weight as I did with SW. Is it even possible that different diets cause different kinds of weight loss?
I can't speak of any other formal diets but the 5:2 WoE seems to work directly on FAT and perserves the muscle. From my first fast I felt like my insides were looser, if that makes any sense. There are some fasts that I feel the fat changing, becoming less dense and squishy and the squishier I feel the more the loss later in the week.

The only time my tummy didn't get squishy with a fast was when I had pasta the night before my fast and more pasta with my fast day dinner. My tummy fat felt dense but I noticed that my butt and thighs got squishy and jiggly.
My own experience is that even when I have lost a tiny bit or nothing at all my measurements have gone down- others' charts seem to bear this out. I lost about 1 stone on SW and at that point when I gave up I felt bigger than I do now although I weighed less. I think I look like I have lost more than I have which is quite strange. The only thing I can think is that I have retained muscle and lost only fat (which is lighter). I don't know if that is possible, but I don't know how else to explain it.
Have done SW and WW in the past and lost weight successfully on both of them. However with 5:2 I find it much easier to shed the weight and feel that I'll be able to sustain the lighter me when I reach my goal/target weight. Can't say I notice that I've lost weight differently though. My boobs have definitely shrunk and my waist is very reluctant to shrink - but I'll master that eventually I'm sure.
