Oh grreat! I'm primed with my Kindle book and ready to read.

Happy reading everyone :-)
£2.99 now, I'm afraid...
So it is CreakyPete! Phew glad I got it when I did!
I've dipped into the sample and I'm hooked. That's my weekend sorted then. Thanks to everyone who voted for it, or else I might have missed it.

Oooooo. I read it when I was struggling to get into the Anne Tyler. LOVED it!
Well I got it out of the library earlier in the month - and it's due back Monday, with a waiting list    so I have every excuse to get it read this weekend! Then I can start Gone Girl ... :victory:
What date do we start discussing it? Not that I'm anywhere near finishing it but I wouldn't want to give anything away. So, how does this book club work? Do we get together on the last day of the month to discuss?
@nursebean you can just post your views anytime during November, either before or after others post theirs - we've had about 2 books so far - if you put 5:2 book club in search button, you should get up the previous threads, so you can have a look at what's been posted ... It is all v informal and casual here
Also people post after they have read the book so you are unlikely to spoil it for them.
Ok thanks for that. Looking forward to a good read...hopefully!
No I haven't finished it already. I got as far as Nick Day One Gone and wasn't enjoying it- not really my kind of book. I also though I could sort of see the way the plot was going. Anyway I reverted to my old habit of reading the end to see if the rest of the book was worth reading! Shocking I know but I have been known to read a book backwards! I skim read the last section and although I wasn't 100%right about where the plot was going I wasn't that far out and I really don't care what happened in the middle. I am just pleased I got it for 99p
I also struggled to get into it but am now hooked so I'm sure I will enjoy the rest of it? Nick comes across as a bit of a git to me at the moment but we shall see, enjoy it everyone,
