I have a small mountain of potatoes peeled and ready, so I don't think @coffeetime will need to peel any more.

Ok, I'm on to peeling and coring the apples for @Manderley's stuffing, what were the veg that needed chopping?
OK, starting the video player up, collecting a few Christmassy films and starting with....'It's a Wonderful Life'....."every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings," awwwwww love that bit.
Excuse me, I have been away for a couple of days and I come back to find a few folk panicking . so now I am really worried THAT IS MY JOB am I not doing it well enough I am getting palpitations now. It'll be alright on the night, it'll be alright on the night, it'll be alright on the night there I have calmed down a bit :geek:
Listen up folks, we're ONLY feeding a few hundred of the 5 2 board, so no sweat.

Glad all the potatoes are peeled - do they need parboiling, troops? Are you cooking some in goose fat and some in oil for the vegetarians?

Sprouts are still a bit al dente but coming along nicely. Still a bit early to scrub the carrots and parsnips. Thinking about a tatin of aubergine, courgette and red peppers, and some separate roasted tomatoes with garlic (tomatoes are evil but so many people like them ...) some broccoli and caulk as well, perhaps?
Oh wowzer peeps! Get over and vote on @rawkarenpoll!
What a fab and imaginative selection..hard to choose

Bleuggggghh, sorry no disrespect intended.
Erm.... no soggy sprouts for me thank you, I like them a bit crunchy.

I'm sure I'm supposed to be helping out with the veggie alternative, I don't even know yet what's on the menu?
 Whipped out some al dente sprouts for you coffetime. Contemplating leopard pie ( if that's what I remember it being called). I'll do a proper search in the morning. Too much Hungarian champers at the mo      :sleepy:
