Welcome to the UK. My sons both work in Abingdon and one of them lives in Oxford. A very civilised part of the country!

Haven't weighed myself in more than 2 months now and haven't fasted properly for a while but it feels like I have at least maintained or maybe even lost a bit.
must put buying a scale on the list.

Hey guys,

How the heck are you all?

Life is treating us really well, been a bit busy and have neglected my fasting friends. Sorry.
Loving Oxford and England and chips for tea. :confused: See even learning the lingo. :grin:

Weight wise I am stuck about 5kg shy of my target but all in all not really unhappy.
Go on give me a smile and a wave. :wink:

was only talking about you last night with my daughter and son in law..
Telling them about yr move to Oxford ( they met at Oxford Uni and married in the chapel of Magdalen College.
So glad it's all working out well for you and the family..i think Oxford is a lovely place to live.
Hey thats not bad,being about 5 kg shy of yr goal!
Now you're settled in,you can work on that! :wink:

Hi @brian1 - good to hear from you. I live near Cambridge and my best friend at Uni was from Oxford so spent many happy times there (in Summertown). Her parents were both quite eccentric academics so it was always great fun. My husband has several family members who grew up in SA but have now come back here so we have an idea of what that's like too. Glad you have settled in and hope your weightloss comes right for you. Loads of advice on the forum here when you get a chance to catch up.
