I was thinking that today, too, @carorees, while I was making my chilli dipping sauce!
Hope you're OK, @julieathome xx

Ive just realised that I've got just over a week...er...9 days to be exact...and then I can sink my teeth into a delicious Dairy Milk! Oooh I can't wait! Its only bean about 8 weeks since I last ate any chocolate!

I was also wondering how Julie is. Also does anyone know how Moogie is going.
@nursebean you are really going to enjoy that chocolate when you finally eat it.
Well the men are away fishing for 5 days so the women folk are off into Sydney today for a weekend of shopping, eating, drinking. Can't wait, the friend I'm going with has had a horribly stressful time lately so I hope this helps her chill out a bit.
I hope everyone else has a nice weekend planned.

You rang my dears? I'm fine and dandy still. Though I do have overworked muscles. The thighs are so sore from squatting and bending that its painful to even sit on the toilet.
But I now have a magnificent patio, with raised beds and low level lighting (the lighting was an afterthough but looks brill), aren't I posh. All that's left to do is get the soil back from the heap and into the raised beds, get stuff planted/replanted and repair the damaged lawn and I will be set for the summer. I thinks hubby is looking forward to the plant hunt as much as I am as he hasn't been able to do much so far, but he can help with choosing new plants. Now whats good for shady bed and does anyone know where I can get a small edible bay tree from, that's not going to cost me stupid money?

My weight zoomed up by 8lbs, I've since lost 3lbs and fully expect to lose the rest once the sore muscles have calmed down, especially now that my appetite has settled back to normal. It was peculiarly overpowering, I couldn't stop eating and weirdly milk was pure ambrosia. I do like milk, but I could have sat and drunk glass after glass of the stuff. Logically my body was just asking for more calcium, protein and energy for repair etc. I really didn't like being that out of control again. I can see me back on the fasting wagon within 10 days.

I've had my staples out and the puckering on my neck has already settled down to a reddish smudge that most people assume is me being mucky. The stitches in my pelvis, basically just in my bottom most roll of flab were dissolving stitches and they have left just a thin line, but there is a heavy solid mass of tissue under the skin that wasn't there before, I hope its not permanent. I am still limping and badly when I have to walk too far. It just seems to be that the major thigh muscle (forgot its name) can't lift my leg up easily and when its straight it hasn't much stability. I can feel the effects of the limping on my lower back, it aches. Funnily enough I have been up and down the garden, hoicking my legs over the walls of raised beds, pushing wheelbarrows, shoveling soil and gravel and the leg/hip has only bothered me the once. Yet walking is a no-no. Time will sort it.

As a side note, in case I haven't already mentioned it, my front tooth crown broke off too. I could nearly see that people were thinking I had been attacked by a knife wielding maniac and I had fought him off with a slash to the throat, a broken tooth and a limp. Luckily kids were more curious than scared, I would have hidden away if I had caused kids to be scared or worried.

This weekend may well be the first BBQ of the year if its warm enough.

Thank you for asking about me. Now I really must get to bed, I will go back a few pages and see whats been happening to the rest of you tomorrow, I promise.

I have boycotted bunnies as they are such a horrible pest here, and bought Easter bilbies for my staff (donations of profits to the save the Bilby fund!).
I forgot to buy myself one though, bugger!!
