That is what I was trying to ask one of our techie crew - I think Google Hangouts can be a group event.
Phone line cut off last night...several other houses have no phone connection either. BT informed but don't seem to know when it might be fixed. Luckily we are visiting the in-laws today so have just been able to log in.
Re a video get together, I've been looking into it as an idea for my "graduation party" when I reach maintenance. I am on Google+ and it seems it is possible to do video hangouts using Google+ that are broadcast via you tube that people can join in with. A virtual party if you will. I'm still trying to work out exactly how to do it. Once I do, we should certainly plan some virtual get togethers.
Will try to get caught up on the forum in between socialising with the in laws! Fingers crossed we get our phone back at home before Monday as I have work to do that needs an internet connection!

It may be sunny but it's not very warm here so I've lit the fire and very nice and cosy it is too! We have the best part of a eucalyptus tree to burn, courtesy of a neighbour, so makes more sense than putting the heating on as we're only in the lounge of an evening really!
Oh I would love a conference video chat. Brilliant idea. Does the fire smell good madcatlady?
OH @Debs He's so cute despite having big ears
@CandiceMarie Great news about DD brilliant that'll make the visits easier, I'm so pleased for you.

Fire just smells smoky really @Wendy Darling!
BTW - did I mention that the other week when I was on a course in London we were in what used to be J M Barrie's sitting room!

Thanks, @Carorees. I was hoping you'd step up to the plate and investigate hangouts, as our award winning techie.
@carorees I use google hang outs at work, I'm sure we can find a way here. We need to share our emails via PM
Sounds like a plan!
Our greedy neighbour's back again!

I have just had a huge inch long bumble bee buzz its way through the bedroom window - the buzz sounded like a lawnmower #springsprung

@rawkaren and @carorees - that sounds do-able! Hope you can pull it off!! #excited
I've just found the hangouts app, logged on. Is it the right one I wonder. It means I now have google + account.
If you have it send me your email, as did like to see how it works.
