Oh.....my.....goodness.........not one but two fabulous looking women, WOW! @pennyforthem you are just gorgeous and @Silverdarling well, what can I say except you look fabulous. Gosh, two for the price of one, thank you both for the lovely photographs, I know how not easy it is to not post pics of yourself, I did it with a huge amount of trepidation and worry. But neither of you two have anything to worry about, just lovely, oh, you have made my Christmas Eve, thank you both.

Thank you@PennyForthem and @Silverdarling . you both look so beautiful AND slim. How wonderful you must feel this Christmas.
Well I just got back from Christmas lunch with hubbys lovely family (23 of us )and received no comments on the change in my appearance and demeanor ( 40lbs less and face not bloated and not sitting in the corner too embarrassed to talk to anyone)- instead felt happy with my outfit, (which you saw the photo of on this thread)and felt confident and happily mingled with everyone and contributed to the lunch conversation. Lunch was 4 beautiful salads which I filled my plate with ( I think prawns and yummy interesting salads are my favorite food in the world!) And I only had a bite of the chicken and the ham as I feel like there's a brick in my tummy if I eat too much meat). So was totally happy and satisfied and not too full. This 5:2 is bloody amazing! I can eat whatever I want. Its Christmas day! And im in love with salads and cant even force myself to eat desserts to be polite!I'm not into desserts and she went to a lot of trouble with 3 choices but nothing tempted me so I had none and luckily no one noticed. As it was a dry/sober Christmas lunch and im back home now and its nearly wineoclock ( not our friend @Wineoclock) but 5 pm here in OZ or anytime when your on holidays, I'm about to pop in the spa with my champas, but I first had to tell you how wonderfully it went. I didn't care about the no comments thing as I knew everyone was too polite but then as we were the last to leave my lovely SIL and host said " Right. How much weight have you lost?" I told her 40 lbs since I saw you in march. She said "you're doing that 5:2 thing you told me about aren't you? I know lots of people on that losing heaps of weight especially around their tummies. I should do that" so I told her the blurb about if she's interested I can lead her to the documentary and supposed health benefits etc and I'm happy to be her resource and call me anytime. So all in all- an excellent day.
Christmas cheers my dear friends
Xxx julianna

Ladies you look fabulous !

A bit of a last minute change as I am still sick and what I was supposed to wear let too much cleavage skin show so will have to improvise

@julianna sounds like a lovely lunch and I envy your restraint. I took the decadent dessert and tucked in and our wine flowed. Home now and my cuppa is devine. Am so glad your SiL did acknowledge your 40lbs loss as it is no mean feat what you have achieved and it is nice when family recognise your efforts.
