@Merlin what a lovely figure you have and I loveyour dress.
@gillymary don't admire my restraint- I didn't have you use any as I ate everything I wanted. The compliments are nice but the funny thing is I don't need them anymore like I did at the 10 kg mark- I was desperate for them but nobody really noticed till about the 15 kg mark. You said I look familiar. I wonder if we've met?

Tried to get OH to take a pic, but they were all dreadful....considering he has a fancy expensive camera I think my own efforts using my phone and a mirror to take a selfie were much more flattering!

Sorry...I meant the selfie I took a few months back and posted in the before and after! Mind you, as Downton does seem so dull, I might nip off to my hosts's bedroom and sneak a selfie in their mirror!

Hang on!

We can wait 1 day- we are experts at it Caroline. Not to worry. If there's 1 thing 5:2 teaches us It's delayed gratification.

Failed to get a good pic of me in my Christmas outfit, but I've managed a selfie this morning and updated my before and after photos thread: 5-2-diet-results-f32/think-it-s-time-for-some-before-almost-after-shots-t8178.html
I dont think its been asked before...

Did you get to wear something a much smaller size than say, last Christmas because of your successes with 5:2 or 16:8?

Was it smaller, sexier and maybe new and special. Maybe a gift to yourself for meeting some weight loss target?

I was able to wear a colourful little sundress that I bought a few weeks ago. I felt really good in it and definitely wouldnt have felt good in it last year.

Anyone get great comments at the Christmas parties you attended?

I love to hear stories about how we feel and look in our clothes, as much as i do about the "numbers on the scales" .. Body image and confidence can be so important to us women (and men!)
I think I commented on another thread that I keep coming downstairs in new outfits and my husband says "is that new?" And I say "no' I bought it a while back and didn't feel comfortable wearing it intil now."Dresses and skirts are making a come back for me at the moment, even short ones woo hoo , thank god for 70denier tights and knee high boots.
