I have just finished (and was so sad to do so) 'The Paying Guests' by Sarah Waters. Absolutely loved it.

@loversghost its a great feeling when you find a book you can enjoy that much..you know you're gonna miss those characters,so the author has done a great job bringing them to life from the page!
