Thank you one and all.
I was at a market yesterday and was buying some goat burgers: the stall holder had a loop of string hanging from his banner at the front of his stall, which got tangled in my feet. I went an absolute purler when I came to walk away! Luckily, the first aiders were on hand. I am bruised from head to knee! Not a good look, especially when I still have a bruise on my ankle from 2 weeks ago and a burn on my arm! Hub says it looks like he's given me a right bash!
The arnica has been liberally applied and thank goodness I didn't break any bones. Amazing really.
I don't like being the drama queen, so sorry I started this thread. What an idiot!

Not an idiot at all PennyForthem! We were all concerned about you! Bruising can be horribly sore so keep up the arnica and let hubs pander to your every need!

Oh blimey, I hope those goat burgers were worth it!!! It is the embarrassment factor mostly isn't it? Take it easy and don't trip over those dogs either!

Oh dear. I know what its like to suddenly have a fall. I fell going "up" my stairs at the back on the weekend. Ouch for a few days and a few bruises. I cried out but they nobody came to my rescue. Apparently i scream a lot (cockroaches, spiders etc) so ... cried wolf I guess.

Get better soon.
