I have just scrolled to the bottom of the page and seen a large green banner proclaiming that 3 people are following me
Can anyone tell me what this is all about?
I feel as though I have a stalker

Is it an add? I can't see a way to follow people here

I don't know if it's an ad. It's got a tick or a 'v' in a green circle then says 3 people are tracking you and a green rectangle with 'click here'

I'm wilfully blind to this sort of stuff so haven't noticed the like before, but I'd take a flying guess that it's just a banner advertisement. If you were daft enough to click on the 'click here' it would probably take you to a page selling viagra, or the 'ten secrets of successful people' type sh*te!

I've seen things like this on other sites - they want you to install their 'anti-spyware', so they can spy on you.

@janeg it could be they have heard of your wet fish technique and you're being headhunted!

How horrible for you, @janeg! As the others have said - just ignore it! I wonder if Moogie knows what it's about? I'm sure that she wouldn't want that kind of thing on this forum. Why don't you PM her - ready for when she's back with us?

@PennyForthem Get them dogs protecting your award coz there's robbers + spy's on the loose they must be the culprits who took Bigmamma and I've been blaming poor little @CandiceMarie.

As I understand it, the forthcoming change to Fast Day will include sorting out the adverts so they're more appropriate. I'm not clear on the timing of the change. I think the first step is to change to a better forum software. I'm told this will sort out the remaining glitches from the change to the new server like Sue's disappearing awards. Whether the adverts will be sorted at the same time I'm not sure.

The bottom line though is: please bear with us, it will all be sorted out soon!

Of course, Moogie needs to be back in the saddle before any changes can happen. I had an email from her to say she's not got any internet without going off to find a Wi-Fi hotspot and BT are saying her broadband won't be connected before Wednesday. She's not happy about that!
