My train should get in at 11 so I reckon I can be at coffee by 11:30 if it is somewhere near the Bistro. Do I gather the vote is for John Lewis floor 5?
Hi @barbarita, I don't think Ballerina has decided what to do yet so we can make arrangements once we know her plans!
I will get hubs to check train times in the morning but I am hoping to get to Liverpool early so coffee at JL sounds good to me,

Please may I put in a request for a photo or two from this momentous meet? It gives reality to our nebulous community and will prove we really are living fast and well :0)
Many thanks x

I shall certainly take a photo of what we eat, just for you, AB!
Well guys,I've reluctantly decided to just be with you for morning coffee.
A noisy environment, with different conversations going on,background noise, the excitement of the occasion etc. isn't good for me .My planning for two hours+ out in a large group is me being overoptimistic.
I usually go out with just one other person, maybe two ..but at times i get carried along on a big wave of enthusiasm and excitement as i have done with this meet up! It always ends badly for me tho
Meeting you for coffee for half an hour or so before the meal is definitely do-able and i get to meet you all....its not ideal coz i want to join in all the fun ( and i hate to miss out on a meal!) but its better than nothing.
Really i wanted to be the hostess,so hope you forgive me and understand. Even after all these years my head still tells me to do stuff that isn't helpful to my health..either coz i' m basically a people person or maybe just that i' m stupid and never learn my lesson

You must always put your health first CandiceMarie and I'm sure we all understand your reasons for just meeting for coffee. It will still be lovely to get together, even if it's for a short time only. You are being very sensible knowing your own limitations...the last we want is for you to suffer as a result so no need to apologise. Big hugs and take care x
My train gets into Lime Street at 10:44 and I think I can find my way to JL quite quickly-I've only done Liverpool1 once before but seem to remember it is sign posted quite well.
Just a quickie, Ooo, get her, but it looks like we shall get to Liverpool at about 10.30 so a coffee and laugh is fine for me. Candicemarie, I am just looking forward to meeting everyone, too early for us all to be making life changing plans and picking out curtains together so worry not, coffee on a first date is fine with me. Providing no violence breaks out we may even do it again some time but for now, Tuesday at JL will do very nicely. Getting excited now,

Hi @MerlinIt IS signposted and you can't go far wrong if you keep heading downwards towards the River/ ask for directions
You could get a bus if you want.only takes ten mins tops..
Come out of Lime Street Station via the smaller exit to the left as you face the main exit.
Cross the small but often busy road, you' ll see a bus stop right opposite where you come out of the stn.
Usually lots peep at this stop with luggage heading for John Lennon Airport. DON'T get on the airport bus, think its number 500.
Get the little yellow Citylink ( CL on front,no number) .. this will take you to Liverpool One..right opposite John Lewis.
the driver will put you off there if you ask for Liverpool One..they are mostly lovely and helpful as lots tourists use this little bus.
If anyone wants to do stuff after eating rather than shop in Liverpool One,this bus will take you in a big circle and if you get off to look at something, you get back on again at the same stop you got on x it goes everywhere..Pier Head,World Museum,Albert Dock, both Cathedrals,Liverpool One. Runs every twelve mins. X

Thanks CandiceMarie-I'll bear that in mind but it may be as quick to walk-if it isn't raining
What time everyone at JL?
Best to get off at central or James street Candicemarie?

Think central is that bit closer and a less exposed windswept walk than from James street x
